Europe: ArcelorMittal raises steel coil prices by Euro 20/t ($24)

Europe’s largest steel producer ArcelorMittal increased steel coil prices further by Euro 20/t on 28 May ’21, sources informed SteelMint. The latest hike is the fourth in May ’21 triggered by short supplies and exhausted import quotas in the EU’s safeguard duty.

Revised prices:

• HRC stands at Euro 1,170/t ($1,427)
• CRC and hot-dipped galvanized stands at Euro 1,320/t ($1,611)
