Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), an Indian state-owned company, has floated two export tenders for 16,200 t billets (150*150mm) from its Durgapur Steel plant. The due date for tender is 11 May’21. The shipment is likely to be scheduled by end-Jun’21. Last week, SteelMint assessed Indian billets (150*150mm, BF route, FoB east coast) to be at $635-640/t.
