Vietnam: Hoa Phat’s steel sales register 65% y-o-y growth in Apr’21

Hoa Phat Group – a leading steelmaker in Vietnam, has reported 65% yearly growth in its steel sales volume with 869,000 t in Apr’21. The product-wise sales are as follows:

• Construction steel sales grew by 59% to 428,000 t
• Steel exports were recorded at 73,000 t.
• Semi-finished (billet) exports stood at 121,000 t.
• Hot-rolled coil (HRC) sales were at 212,000 t.
• Pipe sales increased by 44.5% y-o-y to 87,000 t.
