India: Secondary mills’ rebar prices remain volatile

Induction grade rebar prices remained volatile in the major markets of North, East and Central region. However, the same in the southern and western region (except in Gujarat), remained stable amid factors such as weak demand and lower production. The manufacturers have kept their offers high as in the current scenario, reducing rebar prices might not attract buying interest in the market. Prices on a daily basis may see slight fluctuation depending on the movement of billet prices, sources told SteelMint.
