SAIL conducted an auction today for 5,700 t (2,850 t x 2 rakes) of basic grade pig iron from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 36,750/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bid price remained almost stable as compared to the previous auction conducted on 28 Apr for a similar quantity which was booked at INR 36,700/t exw.
