SAIL conducted an auction today for 8,550 t (2,850 t x 3 rakes) of basic grade pig iron from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 37,100/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bids decreased by INR 600/t as compared to the previous auction conducted on 13 Apr for a similar quantity which was booked at INR 37,700/t exw.
