SAIL conducted an auction for 8,550 t (3 rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 13 Apr ’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Entire quantity was booked at INR 37,680/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bid price increased by INR 480/t as compared to the previous auction conducted on 31 Mar in which one rake of pig iron was booked at INR 37,200/t exw.
