A major govt-owned steelmaker, has announced a hike in list price of HRC by INR 4,000/t ($55) for Apr ’21 delivery. The effective price stands at around INR 57,500-58,000/t (exy-Mumbai), excluding GST @ 18%, SteelMint learned from company officials. Improved downstream demand in the domestic market along with higher export realizations resulted to increase in steel price.
