Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL) recorded highest ever crude steel production of about 7.51 mn t in FY ’21 reported the growth of 19% as against 6.30 mn t in FY ’20. The sales volume grew by 20% in FY ’21 to 7.28 mn t in comparison with 6.06 mn t in FY ’20. Meanwhile, the exports accounted to 35% of total sales in FY ’21 against 13% in previous fiscal. SteelMint learnt from the recent press release in BSE filing. A combination of robust domestic demand and attractive export market has contributed to JSPL’s highest sales in FY ’21.
