Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur – one of the major supply markets in Central India, have increased prices by INR 500/t today. The current offer for 150 mm Channel stands at INR 46,000/t exw. However, sellers have also offered trade discounts depending on the quantity and market requirement. Moderate demand and increasing semi-finished steel prices resulted in price hike. Total INR 2,000/t has been hiked in the last couple of days, trade sources reported to SteelMint.
