Khouzestan Steel Company (KSC), Iran’s leading steel exporter, has floated an export tender for 30,000 t billets (150*150mm) and 30,000 t slab. The shipment is likely to be scheduled for May’21. The company is expecting a price level of $550-555/t, FoB for billets & $595-600/t FoB for slabs. The company emerged as the biggest semi-finished steel exporter with 1.36 mn t during the eleven months of current Persian year i.e. 20 Mar ’20 – 18 Feb ’21, according to the recent data released by IMIDRO.
