SAIL conducted an auction for 8,550 t (2,850 t x 3 rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 24 Mar ’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Due to some reason, the company withdrew two rakes and auctioned only one rake (2,850 t) that received bids at INR 34,450/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bids decreased by INR 100/t as compared to the previous auction conducted on 22 Mar in which two rakes of pig iron were booked at INR 34,550/t exw.
