SAIL conducted a reverse auction for 6,000t ferrochrome which was awarded to Tata Steel Mining Ltd. at INR 1,12,000/t delivered to Salem Steel Plant, Tamil Nadu. The tender is for HC 60% Cr with a tolerance of +/-3 % and delivery of around 2,000t each month.
