Godawari Power & Ispat receives consent to ramp up pellet capacity

Central India based steel maker – Godawari Power and Ispat Limited has received the state government’s approval to increase the production capacity of its iron ore pellet plant to 2.4 mn t from existing 2.1 mn t. Further, the Chhattisgarh government has issued ‘Permission to Establish’ to raise the capacity of its other manufacturing facilities – steel billet unit to 700,000 t and H.B. Wire rod unit to 200,000 t, the company informed in a BSE filing.
