Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today (11th Mar’21) for 100,000 t tailing iron ore fines (Fe 59.8% grade) from its Barsua mines in Odisha, out of which 80,000 t has been booked . The company has received bids at base price of INR 2,200/t (excluding Royalty and other taxes). In this auction, they have lowered the base price by INR 300/t against its previous auction held on 24th Feb’21.
