South32 has increased prices by up to 4% m-o-m for Apr ’21 shipments and is offering Australian manganese ore lumps (Mn 45%) at $5.53/dmtu CIF China. The rising freight cost along with the low availability of containers has prompted the miner to increase manganese ore prices. However, high inventory at Chinese ports (7.2 mnt) could curb the buying interest.
