Shyam Metalics has set up its stockyard in Punjab’s Mandi Gobindgarh – one of the biggest steel trading hubs in Northern India, SteelMint learned from sources. This will improve the availability of raw materials, semi-finished and finished steel products such as iron ore pellets, sponge iron, ferroalloys, billets, TMT rebar, wire rod etc. in the region. Now, the customers would be able to book raw material and steel products at spot price with fast delivery, Sanjay Agrawal, M.D., Shyam Metalics informed in a trade conference.
