A private Indian steelmaker is reported to have booked around 5,000 t HRC (S235 base grade) for end Mar-Apr ’21 shipments. The deal has been concluded at around $800-810/t CFR basis, SteelMint learned from its market channels. Indian mills continue to prefer exports to Europe over other markets amid better realizations.
