Indian Railways registers highest ever freight loading in Jan’21

Indian Railways has achieved 119.79 mn t freight loading in Jan’21, the highest ever figures till now, the Ministry informed on 09 Feb’21. The last record was in Mar’19 with 119.74 mn t. Indian Railways’ freight loading figures for the last few months have been crossing the last year’s figures for corresponding months and the cumulative freight loading figure this year is expected to surpass last year’s freight loading figure, the Ministry said.
