Steel demand in Japan has recovered on the whole with recovery in activity levels of customers. Domestic automobile production has recovered to the same level as the previous year, JFE Steel reported in its quarterly report. Auto production turned positive y-o-y from Oct and finished vehicle exports recover mainly to North America.
