Western India: Kalika Steel further reduces rebar offer by INR 500/t ($7)

Kalika Steel Alloys Pvt. Ltd, (Kalika TMT) – one of the major rolling mills in Jalna, western India has reduced its rebar offer by INR 500/t. Current induction grade rebar offer for 10-25 mm size stands at INR 42,300/t exw. Prices have decreased owing to dull demand in the market and rising inventories at mills, sources shared with SteelMint. The company has a rebar production capacity of 40,000 t on a monthly basis.
