MOIL has an installed ferromanganese production capacity of 12kt, conducted auction for 4,575t ferromanganese. The entire quantity was booked (except for grade 70-72% Mn) but at close to floor price. Grade 68% and 70-72% Mn were booked at INR 63,500/t and INR 65,000/t respectively. Ferromanganese (70%) in Raipur is trading at INR 68,000/t ex-plant.
