India: Secondary rebar prices slump by up to INR 900/t ($12)

Induction grade rebar prices in Western India (Mumbai and Jalna market) witnessed a sharp fall by INR 500-900/t on a d-o-d basis due to dull demand and higher prices compared to other markets. Also in other locations, trade activities and buying inquires were limited. Despite this, manufacturers have held their offers and are offering trade discounts as per market requirements, sources told SteelMint.
