SKS Ispat and Power Ltd – one of the major integrated steel plants in Raipur (Chhattisgarh), has reduced heavy structure price by INR 1,000/t. The current offer for basic 150 mm channel stands at INR 43,000/t exw. The company, in this week, has lowered the structure price by INR 2,000/t in total. Lack of demand and downtrend in semi-finished steel prices have resulted in price correction, sources reported to SteelMint. The company produces a variety of structural products like Angles (from 50 mm to 200 mm), Channels (75 mm to 400 mm) and Beams (100 mm to 600 mm) including H beam.
