India: APL Apollo raises pipe price further by INR 2,500/t ($34)

The largest producer of structural steel tubes in India – APL Apollo Tubes Limited, has increased pipe price by INR 2,500/t to 57,500/t ($784) FoR in Chhattisgarh effective from today. This is the fifth price hike made by the company in Dec ’20. Meanwhile, the current offer for base grade (25-125 NB, 2.2-8mm thickness) stands at INR 59,750/t (ex-Mumbai) and 59,500/t (ex-Delhi). Following a hike in flat steel prices, the company has raised pipe prices.
