Rebar manufacturers in Durgapur (West Bengal) have revised rebar gauge parity, sources have reported to SteelMint. Gauge differences have increased by INR 500/t effective from today (28 Dec), in specified sizes (i:e; 8 & 16 mm) which are mainly transacted in the retail segment. Re-rollers have increased gauge parity after a two months gap in order to improve conversion spread, which is currently at INR 3,070/t in Dec’20 (till 28th Dec) against INR 2,450/t in Nov’20.
