Gujarat based Mono Steel India Ltd (Mono TMT Fe 500) has increased rebar offer by INR 1,000/t. Current offer for 12 mm rebar is at INR 48,850/t FoR Ahmedabad (excluding GST) for new bookings. Strengthening raw material prices with active demand resulted in hike in rebar offer, sources told SteelMint. Notably, the company’s plant is under maintenance shutdown till 31st Dec ’20. However, dispatches for old backlog orders are still to be processed. The company has a rolling capacity of 0.22 mn t pa.
