India’s secondary rebar market observed limited buying inquiries in most of the major supplying locations and the prices fell by INR 100-400/t d-o-d. Current trade price for 12 mm rebar is assessed at INR 34,500-34,800/t Raipur, INR 37,200-37,500/t Jalna exw. As per our conversation with market participants, owing to the upcoming festival, the rebar demand and flow of trades remained under pressure.
