Govt owned steel maker – SAIL has increased finish long steel prices further by INR 500-1,300/t sources have reported SteelMint. Structural steel observed a maximum hike of INR 500-1,300/t followed by rebar (INR 1,000/t) and wire rod (INR 500/t). Notably, structural steel prices of both primary & secondary players are running largely at par in few regions. For instance, in Ghaziabad (125 Channel) price of primary mills stands at INR 39,000-39,200/t against medium mills which is at INR 39,300/t (250*80 Channel), ex works & excluding GST.
