Imported scrap prices in Turkey have moved up further by $4/t w-o-w in recent USA origin bulk cargo bookings made, SteelMint learned. A Mediterranean region based steelmaker has booked a bulk cargo, comprising of 17,000 HMS (80:20) at $296.5/t, 10,000 t of shredded at $301/t while 3,000 t of bonus at $306/t CFR Turkey basis. SteelMint assessment now stands at $297/t, up by $4 w-o-w.
