Taipower floats spot tenders for coal procurement

Taiwan Power Company intends to purchase coal via two spot tenders. First one involving 800,000 t of bituminous coal should be from Australia, Canada, China, South Africa, the US and Venezuela, while no specific origin has been mentioned for purchase of another 800,000 t of low sulfur sub-bituminous coal. Due date for bid submission is 10 Nov ’20.
