Vedanta Resources, one of the major Indian pig iron producers has concluded an auction for 2 rakes (4,350 t) foundry grade pig iron for Punjab (northern India), yesterday. Bid price reported for the auction was around INR 31,000/t exw (equivalent to INR 34,600/t FoR Phillaur) which is similar to the bids received in its last auction on 21 Oct’20, market sources reported to SteelMint.
