Rebar production in China has dropped by around 3% m-o-m to 23.4 mn t in Sep’20, as per the data by National Burerau of Statistics, China. The production in the previous month (Aug’20) was recorded at 24.13 mn t. The recent production curbs in China’s biggest steel hub, Tangshan as well as maintenance shutdowns among steelmakers have led to this decline in the output.
