The USA- largest scrap supplier, exported ferrous scrap 1.84 mn t in Aug’20, up 52% from 1.21 mn t in Jul’20 after Turkey and Bangladesh actively resumed deep sea bookings. Turkey stood the largest importer at 0.65 mn t in Aug’20, sharply rise by 74% m-o-m.
