SAIL finished steel inventories decline to 1.1 mn t in end Q2 FY ’21

Indian govt owned – Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has reported a finished steel inventory of 1.1 mn t by end-Sept ’20. Inventories have come down as against 1.23 mn t as on 31 Mar ’20. Rebound in domestic steel demand from construction, white goods and auto sector have resulted in decline in inventories.
