A private Indian steel manufacturer has booked one rake of HRC for export to Nepal at $535/t CFR Raxual Border (~$515 ex-plant), SteelMint learned from its trade channels. Meanwhile, HRC offers from a govt owned mill stands at $520/t ex-plant. Nepal imported 0.47 mn t HRC/plates in CY’19 and India stood as the major exporter.
