Nepal: HRC & Plates import drop 15% m-o-m in Sep ’20

Nepal HRC/Plate imports reported a monthly decline of 15% to 30,812 t in Sep ’20. On yearly basis, imports fell by 11%. Thus, limited allocations for exports and robust demand in the domestic market resulted to fall in imports volumes in Sep ’20. Nepal imported nearly 0.58 mn t flats from India in CY ’19.
