Today, billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) opened with a drop of RMB 10, against last week’s closing. The billet transactions were reported moderate. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,320/t ($486/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
