Pig iron supply in Jharkhand may get hampered for the next few days. As per trade sources report to SteelMint, one blast furnace of Atibir Industries has been put on maintenance shutdown for around 10 days which will affect daily production of 800-900 t. Also, Bokaro based Electrosteel Steels is likely to cut pig iron supply due to recent resumption of operations in its wire rod mill due to which majority of hot metal will be used to produce finished steel.
