India: Major Structure Brands Offer increased in a Week’s time

Central India’s Structure brands hiked offers by INR 200-300/MT W-o-W. While, manufacturers based at Northern market raised offers by INR 500-600/MT.

Central India based secondary Structure brand’s offers are slightly increased. MSP Steels which is based in Raigarh and supplies Structure all over India, hiked offers by INR 200-300/MT W-o-W. In-line Sarthak Ispat, a Raipur based plant increased Structural offers by INR 200/MT; Plant only produces Channel & Beam.

While, Topworth Steels kept its offers unchanged from past 1 week and offered I-Beam 200 mm at INR 33,700/MT. Plant is well known in Central India and mostly supplied material to Maharashtra, Gujrat & Madhya Pradesh.

Ahmedabad based Grace Casting Structure manufacturing unit has made no change in offer today, while its offer increased by INR 200/MT in a week’s time.

On the other side in Northern India Structure prices jumped by INR 500-600/MT in the month of February. During a conversation, a trader based at Ghaziabad said, “Demand is average but prices increased owing to price hike in Ingot/Billet. During these days we are supplying around 150 MT of Structure on daily basis.”

Structure manufacturer based at Ghaziabad offered Channel 250 mm INR 36,700/MT, which is higher by INR 200/MT from last week.
