Hyundai Steel has raised bids for Japanese scrap purchase today, SteelMint learned from sources. Bids for Japanese H2 scrap now stands at JPY 28,000/t ($264) FoB against its last bid of JPY 27,000/t FoB towards the end Aug’20. The company’s bids for other higher grades of scrap are set at JPY 32,000/t for HS. Japanese scrap export offers have rallied after a sharp hike in Kanto Tender bids concluded yesterday.
