Spot Iron ore prices in China increase by $1-2/MT on account of rising steel prices. Current prices for Fe 63.5/63 Iron ore is quoted in the range of $116-117/MT CFR China.
An Australian miner sold 62% Fe fines to traders at 115.8 and 58% Fe cargo at 160.1 for July delivery.
Few buyers (traders) maintained a watch-and-see attitude towards buying interest due to volatility in prices.
An Indian trader was heard to have been sold a small cargo of 59% Fe at around Rs 2,800-2,850/MT at Vizag Port.
