Indian sponge iron export prices fall further in recent deal

Indian sponge iron export offers fell by $5-7/t w-o-w in recent deal. In deals reported, about 1,000 t sponge iron (80 FeM, 100% lumps) has been booked by a Kolkata based exporter at near to $300/t CPT Benapole (equivalent to $320/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh). Meanwhile, SteelMint’s last week’s assessment was at $305-308/t CPT Benapole (equivalent to $325-328/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh)
