Pig iron offers in eastern India have come down by around INR 500/t due to poor demand following constant fall in billet prices. Durgapur based Neo Metaliks has reduced offer by INR 400-500/t to INR 28,700-800/t exw. Also, Electrosteels has curtailed price by INR 500-600/t to INR 28,800/t exw. No fresh deals have been reported as buyers remained on wait & watch mode, SteelMint learned from sources.
