Today, billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China), witnessed an increase of RMB 10, against last week’s closing. The billet transactions were modest while finished steel prices remain stable, said SteelMint sources. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,410/t ($493/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
