SAIL conducted a 2,600 t off grade (basic) pig iron auction today from its IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) in West Bengal. Buyers booked entire quantity at INR 28,200-28,650/t exw which is the INR 535/t lesser than the previous auction. The last auction conducted on 17 Aug’20 for 1,000 t was concluded at around INR 29,850-29,900/t exw.
