India: APL Apollo posts 39% decline in sales volume in Q1 FY ’21

APL Apollo – India’s largest ERW pipes & sections, recorded sales of 238,000 t in Q1 FY ’21, decreased by 39% y-o-y due to the impact of COVID-19 resulting in 21 days of production loss in Apr ’20. Sales dropped by over 40% on q-o-q basis. The company has total capacity of 2.5 mn t pa.
