India: Godawari pellet output increases 5% in Q1 FY ’21

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has reported 464,150 t pellet production during Apr-Jun ’20, up 5% q-o-q against 441,000 t during Q4 FY ’20. Lower domestic demand mitigated by higher export sales; 95% of pellets production was exported. Output dropped by 3% y-o-y as against 476,700 t during Apr-Jun ’19 due to the impact of COVID-19, SteelMint learned from press release.
