Two major Bangladesh based steel mills have booked US origin bulk scrap cargoes recently, SteelMint learnt from sources. One cargo of 32,000 t (17,000 t Shredded at $312.5/t, 8,000 t HMS at $307.5/t & Busheling at $322.5/t) has been booked for Sep’ 20 shipment. Another cargo of 32,000 t composite cargo (16,000 t Shredded & 16,000 t HMS) was booked at around $310/t CFR Chittagong, for Sep’ 20 shipment.
