A South Korean based steel mill booked a bulk cargo of Russian A3 grade scrap recently. The deal concluded at $258.5/t CFR Korea, up by $4.5/t against last deal concluded by Hyundai steel at $254/t CFR basis, whereas, cargo is arriving early Sept ’20. Korean steelmakers have now shifted towards Russian scrap as offers for Japanese scrap have increased.
